White mustard of light yellow seeds has a light taste.
In the past it was used primarily in production of oil and now it serves as the main ingredient of mustard. Its taste depends on a blend of such ingredients as mustard seeds, herbs, vinegar, wine or lemon juice.
Whole seeds of white mustard are used for seasoning marinades, lunchmeat, herbal butter as well as pickled and marinated cucumbers or other vegetables preserved in vinegar.
