Braised beef with vegetables
Delicious and nutritious/ vegetable and mushroom dishes 9/33


Ingredients: Preparation:
0.5 kg of beef,
Cykoria seasoning for beef and sauces,
4 carrots (or Cykoria dried carrots),
0.5 celery root (or Cykoria dried celery root),
1 medium-size leek,
salt,
flour,
oil or olive oil for frying
Dice the meat and fry. Add water, season with salt and Cykoria seasoning for beef and sauce to taste. Braise on a low heat. Grate carrots and celery root on large meshes, and cut leeks into crescents. When the meat is tender add vegetables to the sauce and braise for about 10 minutes. If there is not enough sauce, you may add water and season once again. Thicken the sauce with flour and water.
