Homemade tripe
Delicious and nutritious/ soups 5/8


Ingredients: Preparation:
1 kg cleaned,
cut and cooked beef or pork tripe,
0.5 kg of boneless beef,
4 - 5 medium-size carrots (or Cykoria dried carrots),
leek,
medium-size celery root (or Cykoria dried celery root),
2 parsley roots (or Cykoria dried parsley root),
1 Tbs of butter,
2 Tbs of flour, Cykoria seasoning for tripe
Pour about 2.5 - 3l of water over beef meat and boil on a low heat for about one hour, add diced or shredded vegetables and boil for about 0.5 hour. Add the prepared tripe, 2 tablespoons of Cykoria tripe seasoning and salt to taste. Cook on a low heat for about 1.5 hours. Add browned butter and flour to the soup and mix thoroughly.
