Sea fish boiled in vegetables
Dishes on every occasion/ Christmas 10/12


Ingredients: Preparation:
60 decagrams of cleaned marine fish,
2 glassfuls of milk,
a piece of lemon peel or wholemeal bread,
20 decagrams of onion,
50 decagrams of mixed vegetables (or Cykoria Dried carrot,
Cykoria Dried Parsley Roots,
Cykoria Dried Celery),
leek,
Cykoria Bay Leaf,
Cykoria Ground Black Pepper,
Cykoria Ground Sweet Paprika,
salt,
4 spoonfuls of chopped parsley (or Cykoria Dried Parsley)
Clean and wash the fish in water. Remove the skin from the head to the tail. Next cut some fillets from carcass, cut them into portions, put them in a dish bowl and pour over some cold milk. Cover the dish bowl with a lid, and put into the fridge for 20-30 minutes. Peel, rinse and cut the onion into feathers. Clean and rinse the vegetables and cut them into fine pasta or grate them. Mix the vegetables with onion, salt them and put them into an oven pan and pour over some boiling water, cover the pan with a lid and set for boiling. After 15 minutes take out a half of boiled vegetables. Put some fish drained from milk on the rest of vegetables, and sprinkle some salt, Bay Leaf, Ground Black Pepper and Ground Sweet Paprika. Add some lemon peel or bread crust. Cover with vegetables. Cover the oven pan with a lid and set it on a small fire. Boil for about 20-30 minutes. Take out boiled fish together with vegetables into a dish bowl and sprinkle some green vegetables in large quantities.
