The Company continues and develops
its prosocial and charity activity. CYKORIA boasts
the affiliate of Ochotnicza Straż Pożarna established
in the thirties and provided with heavy equipment
aimed at giving aid in the case of fire or natural
disasters. For many a year the Company has granted
financial support to various public enterprises
and initiatives for the benefit of the local
community associated with CYKORIA, such as providing
telephone infrastructure, organizing open-air
picnics, integration meetings, contests, to name
only a few. It built and overhauled a housing
estate earmarked for 150 flats.
The Company is very much engaged in supporting
health-care system, it endowed money for financing complete facilities
for an ophthalmological consulting room in Szpital Miejski in Inowrocław.
It also provides sponsorship for education in terms of financing the
purchase of new computers, building and overhauling the school gym. It
cooperates with Zespół Szkół Ponadgimnazjalnych in Kościelec in organizing
traineeship programs for students.

LZS "Czarni"

It is worth pointing out that
the company sponsors a variety of cultural events,
such as I Wojewódzki Festiwal Małych Form "ARLEKINADA”
and III Międzyszkolny Konkurs Biologiczny organized
by I Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. Jana Kasprowicza
in Inowrocław in 2004. It provides financial
support to sport, e.g. Szkolny Klub Sportowy "Kasprowicz" in
Inowrocław and LZS "Czarni" in Wierzchosławice.
The Company boasts Football Team CYKORIA S.A.
The Company organizes and sponsors holiday camps
for children and young people at a school age. It financially and materially
helps Ośrodek Wspierania Dziecka i Rodziny as well as Dom Opieki Społecznej.
It gives food packages and souvenirs for poor children and the disabled.
The Company takes active part in sponsoring research
and scientific programs, e.g. in 2001 it provided sponsorship for research
station affiliated to the Nicholas Copernicus University in Toruń which
does research into glaciology and climatology on Spitsbergen, in 2003
for foreign traineeship programs directed to students of the Jagiellonian
University in Cracow under the name of "Leonardo da Vinci." The
Company coedits the Polish book edition of "Wally Olins o marce" in
2004, signed by Instytut Marki Polskiej.
By making donations and providing
financial help the Company boosts exchange visits
of Polish and French youth, cultural events and
humanitarian initiatives earmarked for flood
victims. If need be, it also provides individual
help, in material and financial terms, particularly
in adversities or trouble.
