CYKORIA brand name is derived from cykoria - the
Polish equivalent of the plant name - chicory. It is a perennial
with the conical root distinguished by a spicy smell and bitter
taste. The medical value of the plant was recognized and
well-established in ancient Egypt. In the 17th century, the root of
the chicory was used as a substitute for coffee production.
The production of dried chicory root, regarded as being an
indispensible ingredient for the coffee industry, the grain coffee
and natural instant coffee included, was begun by the firm in the
50's in the 20th century. The traditional importers of our products
are entrepreneurs from Switzerland and European Union countries.
High quality of the product proved conducive to naming the Firm -
CYKORIA - which has been manifested in the firm logo. This is both a
graphic and verbal brand including a stylized picture of a chicory
plant.

CYKORIA produces a wide range of products that
are, by their nature, a source of pleasure and new experience for
consumers. Desserts, cake creams, ice-creams, soups, additive mixes
are often chosen by clients under CYKORIA brand.
Trust in the high quality of Polish concentrates makes the firm and
the Brand easily recognizable both at home and abroad. A successful
123-year-old reputation and recognition, passed from one generation
to another, are the most invaluable assets of the Firm.

In the Programme of Redefining the Role and
Importance of Brands and Trademarks in Poland MARKA – MARKOM, the
Firm was awarded with Brand Certificate and became
Founder Member of the elite Academy of Marks.
